The IRS starts accepting in Jan 29.

Your e-file is sitting on a server with millions of other e-files that were sent by early filers.   The IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 returns until January 29.  So you will get an email on 1-29 or a few days later telling you whether your return has been accepted or rejected.  Do not try to make any changes to the return while it is pending on the server.
