Why hasn’t my return been sent to the irs? I did it 2/3/24

Are you working with a Tax Expert who needs to submit your return, or did you do it yourself?

If you did it yourself, you need submit your return to the IRS. If that is the case, sign in to your TurboTax account and Continue your return. Keep going until your submit your return for e-file.

I did it myself on turbo tax. Evoked it on 2/3/24 and it still hasn’t been sent to them? So why is that

What is the status of your tax return? When you sign in, it should say Accepted, Rejected or Pending.

It says Pending.

Yes, "Pending" means it has been sent to the the IRS. Normally, it will be pending less than 48 hours, but this year it is taking longer for some returns.
