Why hasn't my kansas refund been deposited still? It's been filed since February 4th

In the State of Kansas, it normally takes 10-14 business days to receive a refund. Today it's March 9, so this is outside the 10-14 business day window. While it is difficult to speculate the reason, there are things you can do to find out why your deposit is delayed.

1. Check Online First: Go to the Kansas Refund Status Page. You'll need your SSN and the exact refund amount. 
2. Use the Chat: Go to the KDOR Contact Page during business hours and look for the Chat icon. This is often faster than calling.
3. Call the Hotline: If you prefer the phone, call 785-368-8222.
