Why does the IRS website say I didn't file a 2021 return?!? I filed through TurboTax.

I signed in to the IRS website and there's a message on the first page saying I didn't file. Could it be because that ID is only me and I file jointly? No one is available at IRS or TurboTax to calm my worry about this!

Did you efile or mail your return?  When?  The IRS is taking a long time to process 2021 returns.  

If you efiled....Was your return Accepted? When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. what does it say?

If you were listed as the spouse on that return did you check the other spouse's account ?  Does it show they filed ?  If they did you have nothing to worry about... eventually the records will get updated.
