Why does my turbo tax say my federal taxes were accepted but when I check the IRS2Go app it still says processing?

TurboTax tracks whether your federal tax return as been accepted or rejected. Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, for the most up to date information on your refund,  Where's My Refund? or the IRS2Go app provides your current status a specific, personalized date for your tax refund. So the app is showing your current status which you want to go by.

Here is the general timeline of e-filed returns:

Transmission > Acceptance > Processing > Approval > Refund.
