In the File section of the program on Step 2 when you have a federal tax refund, there are several options on how to receive the federal tax refund, including Direct Deposit.
There are some possible reasons why you cannot see the direct deposit option.

Another common reason is if you already have e-filed your return. In that case you must wait until the IRS processes it. If your return is pending or rejected, you can enter your bank account information by signing into your account.
If it is already accepted, you won't be able to make any changes.
One more reason should be that you unintentionally select the "file by mail" option, which automatically removes the direct deposit feature. In that situation you will get a check mailed to the address listed on your tax return.
