Why did turbo tax amend my taxes?

My turbo tac account was hacked now what?

Please explain.   No one has access to your account or your tax return.  Why do you think it was amended?  What are you seeing that makes you believe that?

My 2018 taxes were amended by someone and it wasn't me. I'm being told I owe money to send it to an address that's not the IRS   THIS IS SCARY! I called the IRS and they said I've either been hacked or turbo tax did something. I certainly didn't neither did the IRS

Sounds like a scammer letter ... ignore it.

You are being told by WHAT or WHO that your return was amended?  How are you getting this demand for payment of an "amended return?"  Did you get a phone call or an email?  It is likely a scam.  If the IRS changed something on your return they would send you a letter about it.  The IRS never calls you and never emails you.

When you look at your TT account and your tax return--is anything on it changed?
