Why did i get my state refund before i got my fed refund..i file them at the same time ??

The individual state Departments of Revenue work on their own timeline, or schedule, apart from the IRS.  If you received your state refund before your federal refund, it is simply due to the fact that your state Department of Revenue was able to process your tax return and any refund due you before the IRS has processed your return and any refund that you are due.
