Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund. Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.
Your federal refund amount is on line 35a of your Form 1040

i tried to only put federal in not with the state same message was given
Are you sure your return was accepted?

yes im sure federal was accepted the next day after i e-filed state was accepted 5 days later
Try this:
To check on regular tax refund status via automated phone, call 800-829-1954.
not trying to be rude but did you not read part that said i tried the phone and website i even tried to call my local branch and still am at a complete lost the phone said the same the thing the website said so i tried to call local branch the automated answer only gave the address and directed me to make an appointment but when i tried that i was told that option was only for audits
Then----sorry--- I have no other tricks for you. If you are certain that you e-filed and certain that the return was accepted, and certain that you are using the refund amount from line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040, then the refund site may be glitching and you will just have to try again later and hope for better results.
thank you for your time in trying to help me out
The IRS has said that most refunds will be processed within 21 days. If you have to mail in a paper return, if you make math errors, if you claim credits that you are not entitled to – any of these can delay processing for months.
TurboTax doesn’t know anything about your refund. Once your tax return is complete TurboTax either lets you print it in order to mail it or lets you e-file it. Either way they don’t have anything to do with it once you’re done. And they don’t have any way to find out what’s going on with it.
If you e-filed the return, then TurboTax sent you some emails about it. You need to make sure that it was accepted by the IRS. The TurboTax email that you received will tell you if it was accepted or not.
If you only filed very recently and it was accepted very recently then give the IRS a few days to update their systems.
If you’ve been using the Where’s My Refund tool on the IRS website and your return has shown up as ‘processing’ then it was already accepted, you don’t have to check anything else.
If you haven’t been then this is the tool you want to use to track your refund. It is not updated terribly often but it’s the best option out there.
