Why can’t I track my refund on the irs website

Make certain you are waiting at least 24 hours after the IRS has accepted your return before tracking your refund on the IRS Where's My Refund? site.  If you try and check before then, the IRS may not have a record of your return.  The following TurboTax FAQ lists additional reasons why you may not be able to track your refund:  Why is there no record of my return at Where's My Refund ...

I when on the website and put all my information in and all it says is I did it wrong over and over. My taxes have not showed up yet so I would like to known where it is. Turbo tax said I should have it and have not seen anything

If there is no record of your return at where's my refund  or you are getting the message "You may not have entered your information correctly",  an important factor can be if you are married filing jointly.  Make sure you are using the Social Security Number for the name that appears first on the return.  Keep in mind that once the IRS notifies TurboTax that your return was accepted we won't get any more information from them.
