To enter Farm Income and Expenses (Schedule F) -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Wages & Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)

Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)

Scroll down to Rentals, Royalties, and Farm

On Farm Income and Farm Rental, click the start or update button

 

Note - If you cannot access this section and are using the online editions, clear cache and cookies on your web browser.  If still having an issue, change your web browser to either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

 

If you are using the desktop editions and are having and issue, click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Check for Updates

Thanks. I had already tried those things, but they didn’t work.  Decided to start over from beginning and deleted everything.  Re- Started beginning with schedule F and it was ok.  Not sure if somehow entering K1 data first had somehow prevented access to schedule F?  But a fresh start seemed to clear things up.

It still doesn't work for me. I have tried it all.

I had to completely start over and go through the whole process of choosing the TurboTax product.  Then, the first data I entered was for form F.  Previously I had entered some K1 royalty data first.  Not sure if that had been creating some sort of odd glitch?

Also, if this is your first time using TurboTax?   You need to choose the business version of TurboTax to have the menu for Farm income.

If you encounter a "Something went wrong" error when entering Schedule F in TurboTax, it is likely a temporary system glitch, a browser cache issue, or unfinalized tax forms. Fix it by logging out, clearing your browser's cache/cookies, using an Incognito/Private window, or checking for software updates.

I have tried it all and it still is not working. Any more suggestions?
