Where is my amended return that I file back in August? No record match in their system! Why is it saying that?

if you filed an amendment, TT would not have any record of the IRS status of the amendment.

did you check the IRS website?  Amendment processing is taking 6-9 months, given thebacklogs. 

when you state 'their system' - who are you referring to ? IRS or TT?

Yes I actually got my payment cause it came in the mail unexpectedly the other day when I mentioned about this matter.
