WHERE DO I PUT MY INTEREST ON MY CHECKING AND SAVINGS ACCT
Bank interest usually comes on a 1099INT form but if you have the information from your statements, you can enter it in that section of the tax return.
- Click on the Federal Taxes tab,
- Click on Wages and Income tab
- Click on See All Income and Check for More Income
- Scroll down to Interest and Dividends, by the yellow bar graph icon
- Click on Show More
- Click Start for 1099INT
