Do you mean where do you enter the state estimated payments ?
To enter, edit or delete estimated taxes paid (Federal, State, Local) -
Or enter estimates paid in the Search box located in the upper right of the online program screen. Click on Jump to estimates paid
On your 2022 federal tax return you can deduct state income tax that you paid IN 2022, regardless of what year the payment was for. Any such payments would be either state tax withheld from income, state estimated tax payments, a payment with your 2021 state tax return that you filed in 2022, or a payment with a 2021 state extension.
State tax withheld would be shown on an income-reporting form such as a W-2 or a 1099-series form. You enter it when you enter the income-reporting form. TurboTax will pick it up as a deduction.
Critter-3 gave you instructions for entering state estimated tax payments.
If you made a payment with your 2021 state tax return or a 2021 state extension, follow the same instructions, but in the last step click the Start or Update button for "Other Income Taxes," then click the button for the appropriate type of payment, scrolling down if necessary.
Note that your total deduction for state and local taxes is limited to a maximum of $10,000 per year ($5,000 if you are married filing separately). The maximum applies to the total of real estate tax, personal property tax, and either state and local income tax or state and local sales tax. Enter all the state and local taxes that you paid. TurboTax will apply the limit.
