Amend 2023? Impossible. The IRS has not even begun to accept 2023 tax returns. Do you really mean you need to amend your 2022 return that you filed in 2023?
Or......did you already e-file 2023 and discover that you have mistakes? If so, you have to wait for the IRS to begin accepting/rejecting 2023 returns at the end of January 2024. If they reject your return you can fix your mistakes and re-file. If they accept it, you have to wait until it has been fully processed and then you can amend.
Yeah I filed and realized a mistake. Is there anyway to request it gets rejected so I can fix the mistake?
@tasherann No. You are stuck now. Your return is sitting in "pending" on a server, where it will remain until the IRS begins to accept/reject returns on January 29. You cannot make any changes. You will have to wait. If they accept it, you have to wait until it is fully processed---with your mistakes-----and then amend. Or if they reject it, you can fix it and re-file.
Watch your emails....it is going to be awhile, though.
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS rejects the tax return you can return to the TurboTax program to fix the error and e-file the tax return again. You will receive an email notification from TurboTax when the IRS either Accepts or Rejects the federal tax return that was e-filed.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for rejected tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/fix-rejected-return/L5Kn9Ijk5...
