Where do I enter my 1040-ES payments?

To enter estimated tax paid in 2025

 Go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Estimates

To enter your estimated taxes paid go to estimated tax payments under Deductions & credits in the Federal section.

If you need to determine your estimated taxes, in the program you can calculate your estimated tax by:

1. With your tax return open, search for 1040-es (be sure to include the dash) 
2. Select the Jump to link.
3. Answer No to the question Do you want to change your W-4 withholdings for 2026?
4. Answer the questions about things like your 2026 filing status, income, and deductions.
5. Eventually, you'll come to the Print Vouchers? screen. Answer Yes and we'll include your 2026 1040-ES payment vouchers when you print a copy of your return later.
6.  You can also review your information on the Review Your Estimates for 2026 screen.
