If someone else can claim you as a dependent on their return and you have a w-2 under 6,300, how do you mark it on your own tax return? It doesn't give you the option.

I've gone over numerous times it doesn't give you the option to put that someone else can claim you on theirs

When you are logged into your TurboTax account follow these steps:

  • Select the Personal Info tab
  • Select Edit beside your name
  • There is a question - #3 - Select Yes
    • Someone can claim me as a dependent on their tax return?
