When will I receive my state refund? It was accepted Jan. 23rd, still nothing

Are you certain that the state e-file was accepted?  That is a very early e-file date, especially for a state return.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

if it was accepted, call the state if you can't find the refund status on its website or it shows it was sent.
