When should I see my amount due on my IRS account?

Filed in March on my own for the first time. I owe and can pay, just want to get it out of the way already. State and Fed have been accepted. When should I start seeing what I owe on my IRS account?

Do you mean you did not pay your tax due to the IRS or state yet?  Why not?   Were you waiting for them to bill you?   Your tax due was supposed to be paid no later than April 15, 2024, so now it is late and you are going to be subject to penalties and interest.    Pay it asap---do not wait for it to show up on your online account and do not wait for a letter or a bill.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment.  For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.
