When I e-filed my federal taxes, I typed in my email incorrectly. How do I find out when my tax return has been accepted?

I used the Turbotax program on a CD and not online. Is there a way to correct my email?

For the Desktop program you have to check the filing status inside the program.  Open your return and go up to the top black menu bar first item

File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status
