When checking the status of my RI refund, I keep getting this message : Other payments claimed on your return do not match the amount we have received. How do I proceed?

There's nothing for you to do now. The state will make the adjustment.

After you see what they did, you can appeal the finding if you can show the state did not count all your actual payments.
