When asked to "tell us about the refund you received in 2025" why does Turbo Tax not just populate every field from last years documents?

Turbo Tax already has this information, just import it from the forms you submitted last year!

Are you using the same account and user ID that you used for last year?   If so, those amounts would have transferred to 2025.   If you are in a different account, you will have to enter that information by looking at your 2024 return and keying it in by hand

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
