When and how do I get my state taxes back? I received my pre paid visa card but it only had my federal money.

As I said in my original question. I received federal.. I got it like 3 weeks ago. I was asking about the state bc I haven't received it so I wasn't sure if it went on the card of I'd I wld receive it another way

It would go on the card once Pennsylvania releases your refund.

Do they let you know when they put it on or so they just put it on the card

When you receive your Visa card your refund won't automatically be on your card until the IRS or State releases your refund. Federal and State refund processing times varies. 

Pennsylvania Department of Revenue states, "If you filed electronically it takes approximately 4 weeks to process your tax return.  If you filed a paper PA-40, it takes approximately 8 to 10 weeks to process.  However, if the department needs to verify information reported on your return or request additional information, the process will take longer."
