What version of turbotax should be used if you have less than 3000 dollars income from self employment ?

I would like to use the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax but I am not sure I can because I earned 2,500 from self-employment income.

With Turbotax Online, Deluxe can prepare a schedule C but only with income, you can't deduct any expenses.  To deduct expenses from your income you must upgrade to the self employed version. 

With Turbotax Desktop, Deluxe or any higher version can prepare a schedule C.  Home & Business is the most expensive version and is set up to make finding the business entries easier, but a schedule C with expenses can be made in the Deluxe desktop version.  Buying Deluxe as a CD from a discount retailer like Costco or Amazon, or on sale at Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. is probably the cheapest way to go.
