What happens if the bank account I buy for my return to be deposit in is now closed
If your return hasn't already been e-filed and accepted by the IRS, you can go back through the File section of TurboTax and change your refund method.
However, you can't change your refund method once your tax return has been e-filed and accepted by the IRS (or mailed if you filed by paper.) If you entered the number for a closed bank account for direct deposit of your refund, the IRS will mail you a check.
