What does it mean when it says "you filed your taxes" but you haven't gotten your refund?

I got an email saying that I my taxes have been filed, but I have not received my returns yet. So what is my actual status?

Did you efile?  Was your return Accepted?  Double check your efile status here

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?

Filing your taxes is just the first step.  After you file your taxes, the IRS will then process your return and, after they are done processing your return, they will pay your refund.  The processing generally takes about 3 weeks if you selected direct deposit to receive your refund.
