Can you please clarify. Are you referring to the Employer Identification number in box b?
Yes, box b that asks for the Employer ID. Mine ends with a “P” and TurboTax won’t allow me to enter it. It deletes that character as soon as I try.

An employer identification number (EIN) is exactly 9 digits with no alpha characters. If the EIN you are entering has nine digits then there is no need to enter the P. If it has less than nine digits you need to contact your employer and get a corrected W-2.
