If you already filed the refund will be returned to the IRS and they will send you a check.

Same thing happened to me last year, If they have not posted a DDD yet they can just send a check instead. But if you have a DDD you will have to wait until your bank rejects the DDD. It took around 3 weeks to receive the paper check.
