Well I filed and IRS accepted the federal tax refund Feb 5th ,2026 and still don't have it cause all I get is its processing. State was done Feb 5th still nothing on it .

I just want a actual person to tell me when I'm going to get my federal or my state return cause I'm about to lose my house but I don't qualify for a tax advocate?

Sorry if the IRS and state accepted your return then only they can tell you what's the delay.  Once Turbo Tax transmits your returns they are done with their part.

  • yea everyone has done their part but no one can tell me what the actually reason for my federal tax refund being delayed or when I will actually receive my federal tax refund then I'm fixing to lose my house cause I needed my federal tax refund to pay my house taxes but yet I don't qualify for a tax advocate.

The IRS issues most refunds from e-filed returns in about 21 days, since it's been more than 21 days since your e-filed return was accepted, you can call the IRS directly to check on your refund status.  You can also contact the Taxpayer Advocate Service.  The fact that the delay in your refund is affecting your ability to pay your house taxes, should qualify you due to financial hardship.
