When going through the Personal Info section of your program at the top of your screen, you are asked a series of questions regarding every person that you are adding to your tax return, (i.e. you, your spouse, children and other dependents. One of the questions reads "Let us know if any of these apply?"  Under this category a specific question asks if the person was disabled.  I would suggest that you return to the Personal Info tab at the top of your screen and click Edit to the right of the person in question, and go through all of the interview questions that are asked for that person and indicate that they either have a disability or are disabled.
