If your 2018 return information is on file, that information will be used to get an economic impact payment to you quickly. If you did not qualify based on 2018 or your information used in 108 is outdated, then it may delay your payment. Otherwise, it should have no effect.
My bank used in my 2018 return closed. It is updated on my 2019 return. However we have yet to receive this year's return. Will they still use the information we have on this year's filing?
They will use the updated banking information on the 2019 return. Although you are under review, they have your information.
The IRS is also launching "Get My Payment" where you can track your stimulus payment and update banking information if applicable. It should be active April 17th.
