the IRS should send a letter of explanation which should give you a means for objecting to the change if the iRS is incorrect.
I recommend you call the IRS to determine exactly what changes the IRS made and why. You may be able to resolve the matter over the telephone. If not, you will at least have a full understanding of the changes the IRS made and what you need to do next. The letter advising you of the changes to your return has a phone number on it, you should call that number.
