Unable to find 2017 Tax Year Return

Hello,

I am currently having trouble finding my 2017 Turbo Tax Return on my profile. I have a physical copy which I printed and saved after my return but can't find it anywhere online. I used the same account (email) at the time of filing. I tried multiple types of trouble shooting and even tried recovering other possibly accounts used to file that return but always end up logging into my regular account. What can I try next to have the 2017 return added to my account?

I filed with turbotax using Mac app last year.  I am trying to import into 2019 but it will not let me upload last years return.

I can see it on my computer, but it wont upload.

what to do?

Did you already start a 2019 Online return?  You have to transfer before you start so you might need to clear it out and start over or set up a new online account.

If you used the Desktop program last year here’s How to transfer into the Online version, expand the blue link if you used the CD/download last year........

If you used the Desktop program before you may not like the online version.  It has less features and no Forms Mode.  You can only do 1 return.  Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2019 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done.  In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something.  You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.
