Are STATE refunds also being delayed for EITC and ACTC?

No, they are not being delayed due to the ACTC or EIC, but many state forms are not yet available so it may be awhile before you can file your state anyway.

Many schedules and forms are not yet available, since it is still so early in the tax season.

The IRS will start processing returns on January 23, 2017.  Until then, any returns that have been e-filed will sit there on the server. If you are seeking the Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will not issue your refund before February 15, 2017, which means it cannot arrive in your account before February 27, 2017 or later.

Thanks for responding. 🙂  I'm in California and my state refund already shows received and authorized/approved 1/18/17 via the state website. Also says to expect in 10 business days from authorization date for direct deposit.

@Marc Did you file your California state taxes using Turbotax or actually on the state website?

TurboTax.

Are STATE refunds also being delayed for EITC and ACTC?

My husband and I are based here at Fort Benning, GA and the state of Delaware will not issue any refunds until Feb 20, 2017, so there are many states that are abiding or aligning with the new tax laws of 2017.
