Turbotax website updating your tax activity

I need to amend my filed and accepted taxes, and am waiting for the turbotax website to show that I filed and they were accepted so I can choose to amend them. How long will it take for the website to reflect your that your taxes were filed and accepted.  So far it has been a week with no changes.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

Did you receive these emails?  Look in your spam or junk mail folders.

Yes, I received all emails.  I am a long-time user of TT, but this is the first time I have to amend.  Just waiting for the website to reflect my tax activity so I can begin that process.  Thank you for your reply.

An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

The federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, for tax year 2021 is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 03/17/2022
