TurboTax does not know if you received the advance monthly child tax credits that were sent out from July 2021 to December 2021. TurboTax only knows what YOU entered on your tax return. Those payments were sent by the IRS. The IRS knows if they sent them to you. They sent you letter 6419 which you were required to enter on your 2021 tax return, and then you could receive the other part of the CTC on line 28 of your 2021 Form 1040. If you made some sort of mistake when you entered your information, the IRS caught the mistake and corrected your refund.
Check your online account with the IRS to see what the IRS shows for you and the child tax credits.
Try checking your online account with the IRS (and if you filed a joint return—check for BOTH of you)

If you need to trace a payment that the IRS says has been issued to you, mail or fax a completed IRS Form 3911, Taxpayer Statement Regarding Refund.
And....TurboTax never knows if you refund was issued by the IRS. TurboTax does not receive any information after you file your tax return. If what you mean is that you have not received your refund for your 2021 return, you have to track it yourself on the IRS refund site.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
To track your state refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
