Turbotax did not file my school district income tax return as requested. How do I get Turbotax to file it for me?

This may be a return that Turbotax doesn't do. you provided no info about the state and locality so it's not possible to answer with absolute certainty. However, Turbotax does not do a lot of local returns

Fair point. I have filed with the same district for the past 12 years, and 2020 was the only year that Turbotax did not file my local school district income tax. They even filed it for me on my 2021 taxes. Doesn't make any sense. Regardless, I am just filing through my state tax website. Its easier than waiting for Turbotax business hours.

The program can files local returns however you have to initiate it in the state interview section So maybe you missed initiating it in the 2020 program. I would go back and review what you did in 2020 versus 2021 and see if that is indeed an error on your behalf.
