If you're referring to what you see in your TurboTax account, then that is an estimate based on averages. Everyone receives that estimate.
If you efiled, double-check with this tool to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted:
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jspIf that showed it was accepted (or if you mailed the return), what do you see at the IRS website below for the status of your Federal refund?
https://www.irs.gov/RefundsIf that IRS tool shows that the refund has been sent, report back for more info.
If the IRS tool says it is still "being processed", and if it's been longer than 21 days,
and
if you are not subject to the PATH Act delay in the NOTE below, we can tell you how to speak to someone at the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.
NOTE: If you have EIC (earned income credit, aka EITC) or ACTC (additional child tax credit), the IRS did not start releasing those refunds until February 15. That means people with those types of credits may not start receiving their refunds until around February 27.
