Tomorrow my 2018 taxes are due, yet my state return is still pending. Will my return be late?

If your return is pending you should be fine. Your submitted e-filed return doesn't need to be accepted on April 15, 2019 for it to be considered on-time.

As long as you transmitted your return by 11:59 p.m. local time on April 15, 2019, you should be fine.

So my tax return was 613$ but i owe 500$ for the ny state tax return, i assumed they were gonna take out 500$ and give me 113$ but i received all 613$. How do i pay 500$?
