I'd like to know also, because it seems there's a few of us going through a similar issue. Not sure if the IRS phone lines are up and running as yet, (because you will be advised to contact the IRS after 21 days), I tried on and off yesterday and kept getting a voice recording basically stating to call back later as there phone lines are down. And you'll also be advised to keep checking your status on the IRS website.
Its frustrating because I'd like to know if I possibly did something incorrect and I'd like to fix it asap because like most we desperately need these funds for various reasons.
I just pray that it's just a delay because of stimulus checks going out, and not because I missed something, or incorrectly put an extra digit somewhere and caused a major delay on my refund, and now have to wait for the IRS phone lines to go back to normal and hopefully get through to someone just to fix something minor.
Either way, good luck and fingers crossed we'll all get our returns soon.
If your refund included earned income credit, additional child tax credit, or stimulus, your refund is expected to be delayed. See Why is my IRS refund taking longer than 21 days?
