If I submitted my return today through efile, will that satisfy the IRS?

Then watch your emails.  You need to get back 2 emails.  The first one only confirms the transmission and the second email will say the IRS accepted or rejected it. And keep checking the status of your return here

If it rejects you have until Oct 22 to fix and resend it.

Today is the deadline--so if your return is complete and accurate, the IRS will be satisfied.  And of course you have to pay $ you owe!
