My direct deposit was less than what was accepted. Why is that?

My federal return was $1437. But my direct deposit amount was only 1317.03. I paid 79 to use Turbo Tax. Why the smaller amount? Where did the $119 discrepancy occur?

There is an additional charge for state taxes with all products, except Free Edition.

Also, if you elect to pay your TurboTax fees with your refund, there is a fee for that as well.
