My bank (a major bank) cannot fit SSN, phone number, address, and 2018 1040 on the check. What should I do?

This is how the IRS instructions list information needed on payment check (perhaps in order of importance?):

Make sure your check or money order includes the following information:

• Your name and address
• Daytime phone number
• Social Security number (the SSN shown first if it's a joint return) or employer identification number
• Tax year
• Related tax form or notice number

This doesn’t answer my question. My bank doesn’t have enough room on the check. Can I write it by hand?
