This coming Friday will be 5 weeks waiting on federal refund. It has been accepted but all I get is being processed can't get thru to them anyone know what's going on?

I do have eic I have direct deposit been more than the 21 day turnaround. I've never waited this long before.

Thank you Mary k for your reply. I guess I'm confused because if there was a problem with my return why was it accepted by the IRS in the first place.

I’ve tried doing the “where is my refund?” But all it ever ends up saying is call and they won’t answer...

I've called 2 numbers and there aren't any.options to even choose to talk to an agent. If it's something I need to fix let me know so I can  fix it and return can be reprocessed . communication is key here! Gee.
