There a reason i havent received my federal tax refund yet?

About how long has it been since you filed?  Did you efile, or did you print, sign, and mail the return?

If you efiled, double-check with this tool to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted:

If that showed it was accepted, what do you see at the IRS website below for the status of your Federal refund?

If that IRS tool shows that the refund has been sent, report back for more info.  

If the IRS tool says it is still "being processed", and if it's been longer than 21 days, we can tell you how to speak to someone at the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.

I e-filed on the 16th of January...I already received my state but not federal

Says that it couldn’t be found and asked if I put all my info in correctly, which I did

You didn't say what this efile status check tool showed.  I assume it will say accepted, since you said you received your state refund, which implies the Federal return was also accepted.

When using the Where's My Refund tool, look at your actual 2018 return to get the federal refund amount.  Be sure you are using what is displayed on your 1040, Line 20a for the Federal refund amount.

Use only the Federal refund amount.  Do not use any combined total figure that includes the state refund.

And if you are paying your fees out of the Federal refund, use the Federal amount without regard to the fee subtraction; i.e., the amount before any fees are subtracted.

You can phone the IRS to see if you can learn anything about your return.

IRS:  800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Mon-Fri

Listen to each menu before making the selection.
 
First choose your language. Press 1 for English.

• Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
• Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
• Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".  
• Then press 3 "for all other questions."
• Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent, but there is likely to be a long wait.

I usually use a speakerphone so I can work on something else while waiting.

i am having the same issue i recieved my state the beginning of February but still havent recieved my federal. it just keeps saying processing.

Only the IRS will know what all they are doing with your return.   You can use the steps above, if you wish.  They may be able to give you some info about the delay.

Have you checked the status yet at Where's My Refund?

Refunds with a refundable additional child tax credit or earned income tax credits by law cannot be released before "mid-February", which should be soon, but could be behind a delay if they are part of your refund.

Yes I have  sometimes it said I'd get it the 11.but when I got to irs2 go nothing
