The verification code on my W-2 form is a letter and a number(C 24.00). In this case, what should I put in that box?

This is a box 12 code that will have no impact on your return.  It is required to be reported on the W-2 but there is nothing reportable or taxable about this amount on the tax return.  Please see this FAQ on Box 12 codes:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3300234

This additional FAQ gives information on how to enter the information into TurboTax:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4785646

Again, while you want to enter it in to avoid e-file mismatches, your return amounts will not be impacted by this reporting.
