The status bar is gone on wheres my refund. Is there any cause for concern?

The IRS is far behind and understaffed and just not keeping up with the system updating very well.

The bar disappearing from your Where's My Refund status is not an indication of an issue with your return. The IRS website can have display issues when traffic is high. Please keep in mind, the IRS is still experiencing delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For more information on IRS refund processing during the COVID-19 pandemic, see the IRS Operations Status page. Keep checking the Where’s My Refund?  site for updates. The IRS updates the site daily, usually in the overnight hours.
