The IRS wheresmyrefund tool says my refund has already been sent. Why does turbotax still only say it's been accepted?

Because, unless you use refund transfer to pay your fees, tax pair privacy laws prohibit TurboTax from getting that information.

If you are requesting your tax refund on a debit card, or if you want to pay your fees from your refund, then TurboTax will know when it actually arrives in the bank account of the third-party bank that does the processing.  You generally need to allow one or two extra business days if you were doing refund processing.
