The irs refund status states that I will get my refund on January 30 and if it's not sent by feb 4 that i should call my bank should I worry that it was sent yesterday

I would not worry. I would follow what the IRS said, and if you do not see the refund in your account by 2/4 call your bank and they will be able to let you know if anything is pending. If it is great, you know it is there. If it isn't then you can call the IRS and speak to someone there about your refund and they will be able to assist you.
