we have no access to your return nor does Turbotax get notified by the iRS for changes it makes. did the iRS give you a reason?  what year? perhaps you submitted a 2022 return with the 2021 form

you can try calling the iRS

800-829-1040
First choose your language.
Then 2
Then 1
Then 3
Then 2
When asked for SSN do nothing it will ask twice
Then 2
Then 4
You should then be transferred to an agent, but there is likely to be a long wait.

The IRS did not accept for 5695, even thought it was submitted. What do I do?

Good morning.  The return was for 2022 and we used Turbo Tax.  I have tried talking with the IRS, speaking with three different agents.  After a long time researching from each agent on why it was denied, two agents tried to refer me to the Tax Laws department.  I was disconnected.  The last one recommended I see an accountant to find out why.  The form 5695 was used for purchasing solar panels, only the cost of them.  No additional fees were included for all the extras needed to install them.

The IRS did not accept for 5695, even thought it was submitted. What do I do?

OK ... this cannot be for a 2022 tax return because the IRS will not start processing them until 1/23 at the earliest even if you mailed it in.  

 

So what tax year was this for ?   2021 that you filed in 2022?
